Blog Tour + Book Review for POSSESSION by T.M. Frazier

Possession RB.jpg

“This trilogy is EPIC! If you loved TM Frazier's King series, you MUST read the Perversion trilogy!"

- Meghan March, New York Times Bestselling Author

POSSESSION, part two of the dark and gritty Perversion Trilogy from USA Today bestselling author T.M. Frazier is available NOW!

Possession cover front.jpg
The story of Grim and Emma Jean continues.
War is on the horizon.
We've come so far.
We'll have to fight for what we have.
Or die trying.

How do I write a review that kept me on the edge from start to finish? Not only was I on the edge by the end of Possession, but T.M. Frazier also had me gasping for a breath and dangling off of a cliff. Grim and Tricks's love story continues with twice the amount of dark twist and turns. Their love and the connection that keeps them together is strong so the darkness that clouds the two of them and those they love is felt by the reader.

A dark and twisted read that must be started with Book One: Perversion to lose your mind and feel the experience of heartbreak, confusion and the helpless feeling of wanting to protect these characters.

Bethany nods to the box, again pressing her finger to her lips. “We will know more when you’re assigned a judge. Until then, we will just have to wait,” she says loudly. She points with her eyes to the item in my hand, then leaves. The object I’m holding is a rock with a piece of paper attached to it by a rubber band. I pull the paper free and flip it over. It’s a note. Stay by the glass, motherfucker! Whatever you do, don’t turn around. PS-You look nice today. Prison blue suits you. The one-piece scratchy uniform I’m wearing is bright orange. What the fuck is all this about? I peer out from my cell. There’s no one in the room now. Not even the janitor. The security camera high in the corner across from my cell, the one that’s usually pointed directly at me, is now facing down toward the floor. Whatever you do, don’t turn around. Okay, so I won’t turn around completely, but curiosity leads me to risk a glance over my shoulder. It’s just a wall. An empty blank wall. BOOM. BOOOOOM! An empty blank wall...that just exploded. The sound resonates through my eardrums. I duck and cover my head with my hands as pieces of cement rain down into the cell. Dust coats my hair and the back of my neck. After a few beats, I stand, waving away the plumes of the aftermath. Through the debris, I can just barely make out headlights. It’s a truck with a battering bar attached to the hood. “All aboard! This train is leaving the motherfucking station. Literally!” shouts a voice. I can’t see who it is through the windshield which is shrouded in what remains of my cell. I don’t have time to ask any questions of the mystery voice. There’s no time to question anything. The passenger door flies open. Two officers appear behind me. One fumbles with the cell keys while the other shouts at him to move faster. It won’t be fast enough. I leap into the truck and slam the door. The tires spin in place for a few seconds until they finally grip the concrete. My head hits the headliner as we reverse over the broken bricks until we’re clear of them and are able to make forward motion. It isn’t until we’re through the field and on the road when I finally get a good look of my getaway driver. “Preppy?” I ask. “What the fuck are you doing here?” Preppy may not be part of any official organization, but he runs a tight ship over in Logan’s Beach. Belly and I have worked with him and his friend King a few times in the past. I haven’t seen Preppy since before he was thought to be dead only to later be rescued from an underground cave where he was held captive for the better part of a year. “Grim? Fuck, I thought I was rescuing Bear. Get the fuck out,” he teases. “Just kidding. If Bear was locked up I wouldn’t help him escape. That fucker could use some ‘me time’ to contemplate his grumpy nature.” He holds the wheel with one hand and straightens his signature bowtie with the other. His white dress shirt is rolled up to his elbows revealing arms heavily covered with both tattoos and angry jagged scars. He lights a joint and tugs on the wheel, making a sharp turn off the road into a dark heavily wooded area. When we’ve made it in far enough to be fully camouflaged by trees and brush, Preppy kills the engine. He passes me the joint, and I take a much-needed hit, holding the smoke for as long as I can before slowly exhaling. “Thanks, man. How the fuck did you get sucked into this?” Preppy types out a text on his phone, then sets it back in the console. “Bethany. I owed her a favor. She got my boy, Bo, out of some trouble recently.” “Isn’t your kid like ten now?” I ask. “What kind of trouble can a ten-year-old get into that needs Bethany’s kind of help?” “He’s eight,” Preppy corrects. “And my boy catches the kind of trouble most kids his age don’t know is out there to catch. My girls are easier. Twin toddlers. Miley and Taylor. The three of them, along with their mama, are the loves of my fucked-up life. Bo’s a good kid. He’s just…well, his brain arrow doesn’t exactly shoot straight. Its target is usually more…” Preppy shapes his hand like an arrow aimed at the windshield, then changes the aim to me. “Human.” He drops his hand. “And the incident in question wasn’t that bad. It may or may not have had something to do with the unfortunate disappearance of a certain…” He waves the rest of his sentence away like there’s a gnat flying around his head. “Let’s just say he’s grounded. VERY grounded. For life. Or like a week. Minimum a few days. Or a day. Maybe, an hour or two. Poor kid. Maybe, I’ll just take him to the movies.” He sighs. “You’ll see. Wait until you’ve got some sex trophies of your own. You’ll understand.” Kids. I’ve never thought of myself with a kid before. I picture Tricks holding a baby in her arms. Our baby. Much to my surprise, I don’t fucking hate it. Although, the thought isn’t helpful to my current situation and only makes me more impatient and enraged. One thing at a fucking time. Sirens wail through the night. Preppy remains cool and calm like he’s driving a parade float down main street, and not at all like he’s running from the law with a fugitive. Blue and red flashes light up the woods. After a few seconds, the vehicles pass, and both the lights and sirens fade off into the distance. “That’s our bat signal. Let’s get you the fuck outta here so I can get home to the missus and eat her cookies.” Preppy pauses, probably realizing his odd choice of words. “I do actually mean cookies. Dre makes a mean batch of chocolate chip.” I stare silently out at the passing trees. “I’m going to eat her pussy, too. You know, after the other kind of cookies. Just so we’re clear.” “Thanks, man. We’re clear. And if you ever need anything and I’m not dead or serving time, I’m there,” I assure him. I mean it. I owe him a debt. A huge one. “Hhhhmmm,” he considers, taking the joint I pass him. “How do you feel about babysitting?” I smile at his joke until I look over at Preppy only to see he’s not doing the same. In fact, it’s the only time in my life I’d ever seen him with a straight face. “I uh…” He looks straight ahead through the scratched and broken windshield. Bits of concrete from our escape attempt cover the dashboard, and some of it is lodged into the glass. “Never mind. You can do me one favor, though.” “Anything within my power. It’s yours.” “Don’t tell King about this,” he says. It comes out as a sheepish high-pitched question. “Why? He wouldn’t want to know that you broke me out?” King was a friend of Belly’s and a good ally to Bedlam. It wouldn’t make sense that he’d be against helping me. I’d do the same for any of them if the roles were reversed. Preppy shakes his head. “Oh no, he knows I broke you out. I just sent him a text to tell him it’s over. The grand escape is complete.” He steps on the gas. “But he don’t gotta know I used his truck to do it.”

Book Review for Riggs: Satan's Fury MC- Memphis Chapter (Book 3) by L.Wilder

New York Times and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings readers a new addition to the Satan's Fury Memphis series.

I was never one of those guys who bought into all that love at first sight nonsense.
I was all about getting in. Getting out.
No feelings. No expectations.
No complications ... until her.

After just one night, Reece Winters had me thinking of white picket fences and station wagons, but I let my pride get come between us and she walked away.

Trouble was on the horizon.
It was only a matter of time before it came knocking at our door. The club was planning for it. Ready for it. Prepared for it, and so was I.

I wasn't prepared for fate to bring her back into my life, and I certainly wasn't prepared for the secrets that she brought with her- secrets that would connect us in ways I couldn't begin to imagine.

Secrets that could destroy us all.

Riggs is book three of the Satan's Fury MC- Memphis Chapter. This full-length standalone novel is intended for mature audiences only due to the explicit language and violence. Contains no cheating and a heart-gripping HEA.

I finished Riggs by L. Wilder a few days ago, I was so taken in by this story that I had mentally talked my feelings down thinking that I was pouring my emotions in a review. I realized today that I didn't but when I think of this story all my feelings of desire, heartbreak and fear are all still lingering. I LOVE SATAN'S FURY  and every single sexy alpha MC member.

L. Wilder does not disappoint with Riggs and Reece's story, I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. My heart had already been captured by Riggs who is the Memphis Chapter's computer genius and strong enough to protect his brothers and the ones he loves. He falls for Reece a journalist who is determined to write a piece that would have her life in danger. One sexy night, misunderstanding and holding on to a secret keep these two away for two years. The chemistry is too strong to keep them away from each other and it looks as if it is just in time. Reece needs protection and Riggs's life seems to be falling in place, they first have to get through the men that are after them. My mind was going crazy and I kept saying to myself "Reece ... your life's in danger, girl." The brothers of Satan's Fury's nature to protect each other and the women that they all love pulls at my heartstrings.

Riggs is one thrill ride of a read, powerful men, strong women, and a family bond that draws a reader to root and cry for these characters. I have to say again that the suspense had me on the edge and the twist and turns had me wanting to write the author and first tell her how much I loved this story but also that she had my heart cracking into pieces.

Book Review for LOVELY LITTLE LIAR by J. Kenner

She’s not the woman I thought … but dammit, she’s the woman I want.

Lovely Little Liar, a sexy standalone from New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner, is LIVE!

lovely little liar_ebook_1707x2500-v2
I never thought of myself as cynical, but getting dumped at the altar changes a man.
Now, I’m all about my job. About building my business and getting on with my life. Don’t get me wrong; I still love women. I love the way they look. The way they smell. The way they feel. Especially the way they feel. And I’ve pretty much made it my mission to give each and every woman who shares my bed the ride of her life.
But getting close? Getting serious? Giving a woman my trust again?
Yeah, that’s not going to happen.
Or so I thought.
Then I met her. It’s funny how things can change in a heartbeat. How one case of mistaken identity can change everything. But there she was, all business and completely uninterested in me. And damned if I didn’t want her. Crave her.
Most of all, I wanted to help her. To keep her and her sister safe. But the more I get to know her, the more I want her. The whole package. The complete woman.
And the miracle is that she wants me, too.
Trouble is, we’ve both been burned before. Now, I know one thing for certain—the only way that we’ll survive the heat that crackles between us is if we both find the courage to leap into the fire together.
Lovely Little Liar is a novella originally published as Bitch Slap. Minor edits, such as expanded scenes, have been made to this book.

Lovely Little Liar by J. Kenner is so good to be such a short read. I wanted more of Pierce Blackwell and Jezabel Stuart, two characters with relationship and trust issues that come together by a meeting of fate. Kenner does such a wonderful job with setting the scenes with her words, I fell into the story and didn't want it to end.

Pierce Blackwell has relationship issues and wants to avoid them at the cost of his heart. The true test is figuring out if protecting himself is worth the loss of allowing the women of your dreams to walk out of your life. I inhale slowly when I think of Pierce, I don't even mind that he uses a dating app for one night stands. His heartbreak, love for his sister, humor, and sexiness makes up for that in spades.

Jez Stuart, I could picture her beauty but all that gets overpowered by how tightly wound up she is with protecting her younger sister and also by feeling betrayed by someone they trusted. It seems like the perfect time to find someone to handle their security and he comes in a gorgeous package. I don't blame her for her moments of sexual weakness.

Lovely Little Liar is such a feel-good story, I started it in the late evening and finished it in the morning. I can't wait for more of Blackwell-Lyon series, hot protective men with a sense of humor.

“Dammit, Emilia. Of course, my offer still stands.”
I closed my eyes for a moment, a smile pulling at my lips before I let go of his hand. “First things first. How are we going to get past the Dragon Lady?”
He chuckled. A sexy sound that reminded me Dom Moretti was in my room—and we were alone. “Your mom? She seems like a sweet woman.”
“Yeah, until you say no to her.” When it came to the cartel, Mom didn’t fool around. She’d seen firsthand what they could do and how fast. No way in hell she was letting me stay in Phoenix another night, but I had to. After all this time, I finally had a chance to go after the asshole who killed my dad.
“Why are we saying no to your mom?” He sat on the bed, toying with the small flower vase on my nightstand. Nervous energy.
“Because I’m not going with her.”
“Yes, you are. What part of there’s a hit on you do I need to explain again? You’re leaving with your mom. Tonight.”
“You said you were going to help me.”
“And that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’ll allow you a continuance. Thirty days should be plenty of time for me to find out who Levi is. If he is what you say, I’ll nail his ass to the wall. I promise you that.”
He sounded so convincing. If he hadn’t used his lawyer voice, I would’ve believed him. Dom didn’t understand who my cousin’s husband was. He wasn’t just another crook. I kneaded the numb spot below my hip bone where his bullet went through me the day he killed Dad. The scar he’d left behind was an IOU. And it was time he paid.
“You know that’s not what I need from you.” I threw a pair of jeans in the suitcase, which took up half the bed.
“You’re wasting time.” He adjusted his weight on the mattress, moved a few decorative pillows out of the way, and then froze. Oh, shit. “What is this?” The infuriating smirk on his face said he knew exactly what was in the small lingerie bag he pulled out from under my pillow. Why didn’t I hide it better? Oh, yeah, because never in a million years did I think Dom would end up in my room. “Wait. Don’t answer that. What I really want to know is why is my name on it?”
“It was a joke.”
“How long have you had this joke?” He pressed his lips together, his chest bouncing a little. It was all he could do not to burst out laughing.
“Your inflated ego must be loving this, but trust me, it’s not what you think.” I resumed the task of folding my clothes and arranging them in my luggage. Maybe if I pretended having a dildo with his name on it wasn’t a big deal, he’d let it go.
“There’s a vibrator under your pillow with my name on it. You betcha my ego is loving this.” He bit the inside of his lip, gripping the contents of the bag. Why was this turning me on? He planted his feet on the carpet and stood, taking his time. His prowl was a promise that the real Dom would be a thousand times better than the chargeable device in his hand. “You want me. Why do you push me away?”
He pressed his chest against the side of my arm. I couldn’t turn to face him. If I did, we’d end up doing what we had started last night at the bar.
“I’ve spent the last ten years in hiding because of what my dad did for a living. You saw today what Jess is going through with her husband. I don’t want that for myself.”
“I am not like them.” His tone was terse and cold. “But you’re right. You have your hands full as it is. I have no right to spring my bullshit on you. So here’s what we’re gonna—”
Shouts came from the other side of the house. They were faint, but they unmistakably belonged to Jess. “My cousin is here.”
“Time’s up.” He moved so fast around the room, I felt like I was going in slow motion. I dropped the bathroom essentials into a toiletry bag while Dom stuffed the rest of my clothes in the suitcase and squeezed it shut.

I took one look at the oncoming wall of people and broke the line. There were too many; we’d be crushed, they’d be injured. It was too dangerous. Around me, soldiers made similar calls, stepping back, moving out of the panicked protester’s way. Some tried standing their ground, only to fall under the first wave.
"Fall back! Fall back! Let them through!" I ordered, screaming into my radio. "Fall back! Let them through! Fall back!"
Some listened, others didn't. I didn't know if they could hear me. It was pandemonium. It was chaos.
It was war.
I watched in horror as a soldier, panicked, started beating a woman who’d run into him with his baton. She desperately tried to push him away, twisting to avoid him, trying to move towards the exit. She managed one step before his arm came down cracking her on the head. She went down, landing on the street, immediately swallowed by the wave of stampeding feet.
"With me!" I screamed, surging through the crowd, eyes on the spot the woman had gone down. I prayed someone was behind me. I fought against the people, using my shield as a weapon. I was pushed, shoved, and beaten as I clawed my way to where she'd fallen. I stepped on her arm. Immediately pulling my foot back, I looked down. Her face was a bloody mess, her body completely mangled with blood and bruising. I stepped over her, bracing a foot on either side, the soldier who'd hit her nowhere to be found. I held my shield up as still more people streamed through the narrow entrance, eyes panicked, bodies bloody.

What the fuck was going on?
My radio crackled, but I couldn't hear it over the screaming and thunder of the crowds. A child tripped beside me. I snapped out a hand, hurling him up, pushing him behind me. He clung to my leg, whomever he'd been with already lost in the crowd, pushed along by the surge.

A soldier appeared beside me. The guy from earlier.
"Colonel!" he yelled, struggled to be heard over the crowd. He braced, lacing his arm with mine, crouching we shuffled slightly, moving to fully cover the woman. The kid kept clinging to me, his small arms and legs now wrapped completely around my leg.
"She's bad," the guy said as the crowd started to thin.
"I know." Her legs looked broken, and she had to have internal injuries. Her face was a complete mess.
"She won't be the only one."
His arm flexed around mine, but we didn't move. We couldn't. We had to hold, or we'd all go under. I could see the end of the crowd, the line of soldiers three deep, followed by a row of trucks.
"Shit," the soldier yelled. "This is some dystopian shit!"
I grunted, shifting my grip on the shield. "Pray the truck is for casualties."
The crowd thinned, light enough I could shift into a crouch, my hand going immediately to the woman's neck.
"Pulse," I reported. "Weak as shit. She's bad."
"But alive," he pointed out. "We’ve got to get her help."

Blog Tour for PUCKED LOVE by Helena Hunting

Pucked Love, the final sexy and emotional standalone in the NYT bestselling Pucked Series from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, is available NOW!

PUCKEDLOVE_full_trim (1).jpg
As an NHL player, relationships haven’t been my thing. Shrouded in secrecy and speculation, they never last very long. But then that’s what happens when you require an NDA before the first date.
Until Charlene. She’s like a firefly. She’s elusive, and if you catch her she’ll burn bright, but keeping her trapped dulls her fire and dims her beauty.
I caught her. And as much as I might want to keep her, I’ll never put the lid on her jar. Not at the risk of losing her. So I've let her set the rules in our relationship.
But as long hidden secrets expose us both, I discover exactly how fragile Charlene is, and how much I need her.
We’re all broken. We’re all messed up. Some more than others. Me more than most.

I'm not a person that squees, my emotions are usually internal but Darren's story has been much anticipated. Who am I kidding? Any character in the PUCKED series is a necessity and aligns my stars and seems to make everything in the world better. I know I lose a couple of brain screws when it comes to this crew of hot hockey men and the women that they love. If someone would have asked me before if Randy was still my favorite, I would have said, "Hell Yeah he is!" I just never could have imagined Darren and all of "THAT" that he brings to the story.

Darren Westinghouse is the perfect man to wrap up this series and leave a lasting impression. He is such an intense, broody and secretive character but it's his sexuality that poured off of my kindle. I could feel the heat from his manliness and passion for Charlene. What really makes him a lovable book boyfriend is his bond with Alex, Charlene, his teammates, and their significant others. His family baggage makes him the perfect match for Charlene and the secrets she comes with.

Charlene was on the borderline of getting on my nerves, she was right on the line. I loved that she is independent and sexually adventures but also restrained to the point where it's humorous. Her secret and insecurities keep her one foot out of her relationship with Darren. That might have been what irked me because when a man like Darren is willingly available it should be an abomination to push a man like that away.

Pucked Love only reminded me of why I love this series and the characters so much. The men and women in this series are so evenly matched. The friendships overpower the storyline, the witty remarks and sexual banter is what the PUCKED series is all about. Each book packs sensual heat but to me, it's the bond of this group that made each character and stories must-reads.

You’re turning twenty-six. It’s your champagne birthday, so we need to do something fun.” Violet bounces, making her boobs shake and my mimosa slosh perilously. “It should be themed! We can all wear leather chaps!” “Could you be any more cliché?” I roll my eyes. “Just to be clear, Darren doesn’t own chaps.” “Just a ball gag and a mask with no eye holes, according to Alex.” And we’re back to my sex life. I knew I was getting off so easy. I wonder if Darren is catching this kind of heat today. I seriously doubt it’s worse than what I’m getting since I don’t think his friends are likely to push his buttons, but I’ll have to ask when I speak to him next. I’m not sure when that will be, either. The message I sent about Gertrude was pretty straightforward and doesn’t necessarily require a response. Maybe I should’ve worded it differently. Sunny raises her hand, like we’re all still in middle school and she’s waiting her turn to speak. “Wouldn’t a mask with no eyeholes be dangerous? You wouldn’t be able to see where you’re going.” Her eyes widen, and she looks around the room. “And what’s a ball gag?” I honestly love that Sunny has grown up in this highly overinformed society and still manages to be innocent. “Yeah, Char, wouldn’t a mask with no eyeholes be dangerous?” Violet props her fist on her chin and smiles. “And please, do explain what a ball gag is.” “I’m not sure you really want the answer to that, Sunny.” Poppy gives me a look I can’t quite decipher. Sunny twirls her hair around her finger. “Why not?” “Where’s the harm in a little bondage-sex education? It’s not like Miller’s ever going to go out and buy either item for her. First of all, Alex would murder him, and secondly, I don’t think that’s Miller’s thing.” Sunny’s face lights up, and she does jazz hands. “Oh! I think I know what Miller’s thing is!” Lily grins. “Eating your cookie?” “He really likes to do that, a lot. When my belly gets too big I’ll have to watch from the mirror.” She gets a faraway look in her eyes. “But he has another thing! Kind of like how you and Randy are always getting it on in bathrooms, except I think it’s a bit more sanitary.” “And it doesn’t cause thousands of dollars of damage,” Violet adds. Lily throws her hands up in the air. “That sink was already falling off the wall.
