Book Review for Filthy Gods by R. Scarlett

Buy Link:

Prelude in the American Gods series.

Young. Wealthy. Elite. Attractive. The gentlemen’s secret society at Yale was filled with them.

And Nathaniel Radcliffe, the bane of my existence, was one of them.

As the right hand of the American Gods, he was conceited and arrogant. A dangerously handsome man in a tailored custom suit and shiny black oxford loafers.

The classroom was our battlefield. We made a sport out of arguing and debating, ready to do anything in order to win over the other.

Deadly opponents, deadlier minds.

I'd sworn I'd never give him the upper hand, until...

The secret I’ve been hiding for the last three years?

He just discovered it… and now he has all the power.

R. Scarlett is a new author to me and I must say that she blew my mind with this Prequel of Filthy Gods. If this is a tease to what's to come with the American God series than I say it's going to be one hell of a ride. This story is hot, to the point that I could feel the sweat trickling down my back.

At first Nathaniel Radcliffe comes of as an arrogant ass, but it's his need to protect or to have the one woman who has been his biggest distraction. She is his competitor, enemy and his addiction. Nathaniel pulls off the suited up rich alpha male perfectly, his intense character left me weak in the knees. He may not be part of the group of the three American Gods that run the University, but he plays a major part in this trio of some very powerful men.

Juliette Monroe has to work hard to compete with all the others that attend Yale, she is intelligent and is driven to make something of herself. Juliette's competitor is so frustratingly handsome and can be a distraction to losing all that she has worked for. Her only option is to take him up on his offer for a summer romance. Will she be able to hold on to her secrets and heart, while giving herself to the one who can destroy her emotionally and financially?

OMG!!! I love Filthy Gods. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is an inferno and the story-line is filled with drama and takes the reader inside the lives of the rich and very privileged.  R. Scarlett has me wanting more from these men of mystery Gabe, James and Arsen and I hope that we get glimpses of Nathaniel and Juliette in each of their stories.
5 Star Must Read!!!
