Author: Lauren Rowe
Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 15, 2017

Blurb

From, Lauren Rowe, the USA Today and International bestselling author of The Club Series and Ball Peen Hammer comes a sexy standalone romance: Captain.

It wasn’t the way this kind of story was supposed to go . . .
Insta-love isn’t supposed to turn into insta-hate.

But that’s exactly what happened when the hot-as-hell dreamboat I met in a bar turned out to be a lying, cheating scumbag-player-douche looking for nothing but a little side action. Jerk.

And he has the nerve to call me a liar and a “sociopath”? Assh*le.

And now, three months later, through a mind-blowing series of events I couldn’t have predicted in a million years, it turns out my boss is marrying his sister in Hawaii and I’ve got to play nice with him for an entire freaking week.

Okay, sure, I’ll put on a happy face this week and act like I’ve never even met the jerk before--did I mention his sister is marrying my boss?--but that doesn’t mean I’ll like it. And it certainly doesn’t mean I’ll stop secretly hating the cocky bastard’s guts.

Because I do.
I hate him.
I really do.

I just wish my brain would explain the situation to my body . . . because every time he flashes that panty-melting smile at me, it takes all my self-restraint not to jump the bastard’s hot-as-f*ck bones.

It’s impossible not to smile that he remembered my drink of choice. It’s also hopeless to pretend that the boyish grin he’s flipping me doesn’t melt away some of the ice around my heart.
Still, I don’t want to play nice.
“I already had coffee today. But thank you,” I say politely.
“No offense, but you are kind of irritable this morning. Maybe you could use another shot of caffeine.”
“You think I’m irritable now? Keep it up.”
“You never were a morning person,” he laughs. “Some things never change.”
“And some things do,” I point out, giving him a look. “Seriously, why are you here?”
“I have business with Violet. Remember?”
“That’s bullshit anyway, but she’s not here. You’ll have to come back later.”
“Is that an invitation?” he laughs.
“Did it sound like one?” My arms cross over my chest and I’m aware it makes my boobs look bigger. As his eyes drop and catch the top of my cleavage, his gaze burns a trail on the ascent back up to my eyes.
Satisfaction paints a smug look on my face and desire burns in the apex of my thighs. As discreetly as possible, I clench my legs together to quell a bit of the ache that’s beginning to throb under his observation.
When our gazes meet, his is crackling. He lifts a single brow. “I damn sure hope that’s an offer to come. If it’s not, we have a problem on our hands.”
“No, you have a problem on your hands,” I say, shrugging. “It has nothing to do with me.”
“It could.”

She’s down the hall. I can hear her music and her muffled voice as she sings. My hard cock hears her too and I’m suddenly angry about having more space. I want her with me, wrapped in my blankets, shifting restlessly as I watch her and make her wait for me to climb on top of her soft body. Fuck, I rub myself painfully against the zipper of my jeans. I huff through my frustration and get in the shower that I turn cold to appease my aching dick. It does little to ease the tension in my balls so I take matters into my own hand and beat off to images of her tits that I conjure in my mind. Even as I groan out my release I know it’s not good enough.   I need Piper.

God, I’ll beg. I will. I’m not above it.

Now that we’re settled in a new place, I can’t wait to make her mine. I promised slow but my pulse speeds while I towel off and throw on a pair of pajama pants, eager yet unsure of what I’ll say when I’m there. My palms sweat. Goddamn, I’m nervous. I stop dead in the hallway, feet from her room. For Christ’s sake, you’d think I’ve never approached a woman for sex. But this isn’t just that. I want to be careful with Piper. Correction, I want hard, primal fucking with Piper, but there’s time for soft and slow too. I want it all. I want all of her, all of the time.

I exhale and ease my heart into a steady beat, one that mimics the low bass throbbing out the beginnings of the stalker anthem “Every Breath You Take”. Well, okay. Maybe I need to layoff and refrain from begging. I laugh and rub my chest as I step into her doorway.

Fuck. Me. This roomie shit is hard and now so am I—again. Twelve months of no pussy zeros in on Piper in a tank and the female version of plaid boxers, short enough to show cheek as she bends to put a sweater in the bottom drawer of her dresser. She stands, throwing her head back on a high note. I can’t help but smile as she hits Sting’s pitch to perfection and then twists to gather the last garment from the laundry basket.

Piper’s engrossed in her music and doesn’t notice me leaning against the doorframe so I cross my arms and watch the show as it moves into “I need a Hero”.

“Nice moves, sunshine,” I murmur when she turns and her tits bounce through the dance. This is good shit.

Her head snaps up and she stumbles to the nightstand to switch off her Blu-ray speaker.

“Don’t stop on my account. That was better than a lap dance.”

“Oh, my God. Don’t you know how to knock?” She grabs a pillow from her bed, hugging it to her torso.

My grin grows. “I’ve seen your tits. You think hiding them from me will dissuade my imagination?”

Her gaze narrows in on mine, but then it flicks down to my abs and lower to my stiff cock. No shower in the world could kill that boner. She closes her eyes, but her accelerated breath moves the pillow up and down. Good, I like the direction she’s headed.

“Caden?”

“Piper?”

“How long . . . You’re trying . . .” She bites her bottom lip.

I nod. “Like so irritating you could tie me up? Because I might like that with you. Or, we can role play? I’ve got this fantasy.”

Her mouth falls open and then she swings the pillow and clocks me in the ear, a sneak attack that takes me off guard. I don’t know if I should be pissed at the assault or thrilled as my predatory nature wakes from sleep. The second hit lands on my hip. I snarl and size up my prey, at the same time stealing away her weapon. She pants and the tits I dream about heave, drawing my attention to the hard knots of her nipples straining against the fabric.

I stalk toward her. “You sure about this, sunshine?”

“I’ve got a good arm, Popeye. You scared?”

I stop and glare at her. “What did you call me?”

She laughs and chucks a pillow at my head. “Popeye the sailor . . .” she croons.

Oh, fuck no.

I advance. She retreats—singing. God is she hot, toned muscles, tanned skin, curves in every goddamn right place. And it hits me like a ton of feather pillows. I’m falling in love with Piper Stevens. The desperate ache in my cock is a pressing issue, but so is hearing her laugh and seeing her teasing smile every day. I want her voice to fill these walls until they crumble, even when the song is about me eating my spinach. This has moved beyond possession and into a dark cavern I’ve yet to explore. By the heavy lurch of my heart I’m not sure it’s ready to let her in. But I’m pretty sure that’s what happens. I’m going to share this piece of me and she’ll do the same. Together we’ll steady our pulse. Goddamn, the thought unleashes a primal instinct to claim her, take her, make it so no other man will ever have her again.

But first I’m going to wipe that grin off her face and make her scream. My initial pillow strike misses as she lobs to the left. The second hits her square over the head. Her eyes flare and then narrow and I can tell the minute tactical thought gives way to a frantic need to conquer her target. She misses a lyric and attacks in reckless swings. I’m trained in the art of war and in a minute, I chase her over the bed and to the other side of the room with quick snaps to the back of her thighs and a crack to her ass.

She twirls with indignation, gripping her backside and I drop my weapon. One arm around her waist, the other on her nape, I haul her against my chest and slam my mouth on hers.

Sweet Jesus she kisses me without hesitation, sucking my tongue into her mouth on a groan. We go deep, long open licks I use to punish her for singing that fucking song. It takes every ounce of my self-control not to pin her against the wall, peel off her shorts and fuck her into an apology. I’ll save that for later.
I tap her ass and help to wrap her legs around my waist and it’s the best, most natural place for her to be. When she wiggles into position, she slides down against my straining dick and I almost shoot my load. I moan and tug her hair, peeling her away to find her flushed skin, watch her lowered lids flutter against her cheeks as I rub the throbbing head of my cock against her pussy through fine layers of cotton.

Excerpt

CHAPTER ONE

48°37’17”N, 20°12’20”W
Aboard the Boadicea
One Day Southwest of Falmouth

Captain Lindsay Fisher jolted awake to thundering pain centered over a golfball-sized knot on the right side of her forehead. Hot, sticky blood trickled from a gash on her scalp.

The cabin lights were out, but in the gloom she could hear the roar of seawater cascading along the floor of her starboard aft cabin. She’d fallen into her bunk a few hours before encased in foul weather gear -- and a life jacket.

The ship was in a severe list. Dazed and still barefooted, she used handholds to make her way to the main saloon. The dim glow from the overhead deck bevels illuminated water pouring through the galley from the forward cabin. Shit. The custom glass top over the owner’s cabin had shattered.

The sixty-four-foot Hallberg-Rassy must have done a full roll. Lindsay had been asleep on the floor of her cabin and had probably smacked her head sometime during the spin.

They were sinking. Fast. And her first mate, her uncle Tommy, had been on watch at the helm.

She ignored the stuttering of her heart and snatched the ditch bag carabineer, clipped to the galley counter rail. She nearly collided with her second crewman in a race to the top deck.

“Jim, deploy the life raft. Now.” she shouted, shoving the bag at him.

“Got it,” he yelled, and pounded up the companionway ahead of her.

She hauled herself up, two steps at a time, and called out, “Tommy.” She didn’t wait for an answer but hit the top deck running.

The wreckage above sickened her. Anything not tied down was gone. The rigging still stood, but the sails were soaked, twisted and ripped. The top quarter of the mast had broken off.

A late, fierce storm, at least Force 11, was kicking up monster size waves, and sixty-knot winds whipped the surface water into a roiling mist. Airborne spray and foam narrowed visibility to nearly zero.

The earlier weather faxes she’d checked had shown the storm passing west of them. Mother Ocean must have changed her mind.

Tommy. I have to get to him.

Lindsay exhaled hard at the sight of the lifeboat valise still lashed to the safety rail. Her third crewman Jim worked at the straps to free the big rubber inflatable, the only thing between them and the frigid North Atlantic waters.

When the huge raft was prepped, he would splash the lifeboat into the savage waves battering the broken yacht. He’d already attached the raft’s painter to the ship to keep it from blowing overboard. When the ship sank, the emergency tether would break free.

The steep tilt of the deck meant she had only minutes to call for help and find her first mate before the yacht plummeted to the bottom of the sea.

She punched the DSC button on the waterproof radio strapped on her chest to broadcast their GPS coordinates. Then she pushed transmit and spoke calmly.

“Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. This is Captain Lindsay Fisher on the Boadicea, Boadicea, Boadicea. We’re a day southwest of Falmouth at 48°37’17”N, 20°12’20”W, and sinking. The ship has rolled with three passengers aboard. One crew member possibly overboard. We are deploying the lifeboat and EPIRB beacon.”

She waited a minute and repeated the plea while crossing to the wheel where Tommy should be.

They were still less than two hundred miles out of the English Channel. If she didn’t get a response soon from the Brits, she hoped another nearby ship listening to Channel 16 would relay her call for help.

When she reached the stern behind the wheel, the only sign of Tommy was a taut portion of his six-foot safety tether. Lindsay squinted through the spray peppering her face like needles. The strap wound down the backside of the wallowing yacht and disappeared into the black waves.

There was still tension on the line. She heaved up on the tether, but the weight on the other end wouldn’t budge. She didn’t dare divert Jim from getting the life raft ready.

Lindsay heaved again on the strap, this time using her whole body weight but lost her grip when her bare feet slipped on the wave-soaked deck. No dice.

She stood for a moment, scanned the waves around the ship, and then plunged into the cold seawater. The towering waves pounded her senseless like a mass of ice mallets pelting her back. Breathe. Focus.

The roll had knocked out their running lights, and the water below the surface was as black as an oil slick. She clutched her lifeline, still clipped to the ship’s jack line, with one hand while groping along the hull beneath the waves searching for Tommy. She swept a 180-degree arc before realizing his tether was stuck on a piece of the swim ladder twisted during the yacht’s violent revolution. Dammit.

The tension on the end of the line wasn’t Tommy.

She unclipped her safety line and left her life jacket on the ladder to begin a frantic free swim along the keel beneath the hull. The creaks and whines of the straining ship shrieked in her ears. Not much time left.

Lindsay resurfaced, gasped in a few breaths, and dived again to the bottom of the keel. Huge thrashing waves exacerbated the wallowing motion of the ship, and the black water threatened to suck her into the claustrophobic darkness.

Her hands and feet were numb, and she wanted nothing more than to close her eyes and let the frigid water take her.

No. She wouldn’t give in to the cold, but she was out of options. One more dive was all her body had left.

She was all in, no backup plan. In a flash, something brushed against her hand. A fish? Not bloody likely this close to the surface in a storm.

She made a wild grab and grasped a sleeve of her uncle’s foul weather gear. His life vest must have hooked onto a protruding piece of a sensor on the keel during the roll.

She pulled with her last surge of strength, and his body broke free. Kicking them both to the surface, she hung on to his life vest and gave silent thanks for her barefoot state. Sea boots would have filled and pulled her down.

The doomed yacht’s loud groans and creaks filled the air when she came up, gulping breaths. They were out of time.

But there, the big yellow raft bobbed in the water, surrounded by the wake of the sinking ship.

Jim’s face in the low light was grim, the most beautiful sight she’d ever seen. He’d found them with the battery-operated spotlight. The EPIRB’s beacon flashed behind him as he thrashed through the waves. He grasped Tommy by his jacket and pulled him aboard, then extended a hand to Lindsay.

Once inside the small canopied raft, she rolled her uncle to his back and leaned over his chest, listening for breathing. The screaming winds and rain pelting the raft’s rubber top made hearing next to impossible.

Her frozen fingers were useless. She couldn’t use them to detect a pulse, so instead she looked for a rise in his chest. Nothing. She started compressions and after only two or three, Tommy jerked to life and slapped her hands away.

“You tryin’ to kill me or what?” He took the bucket Jim shoved toward him, and in a matter of seconds, puked up seawater. “Son of a--.”

“He’s back,” Lindsay said, her voice ragged with relief and exhaustion. Painful needles of feeling returned to her fingers and toes. She collapsed onto the inflated rubber floor and stared at the peaked roof.

Her career was over.

CeCe Ahlstrom, massage therapist to the rich and famous, is done with men. Her last rich boyfriend tried to kill her on an ill-fated cruise through the Grenadines. Now she’s determined to get on with her life but can’t find the funds to get to her next spa gig in Portugal. Then along comes notorious womanizer Captain Rene Baudouin. The only woman he's ever wanted is up for bids in a ‘secret date’ auction. This isn't the first time he’s yearned for Cammie Spencer. Despite family drama and a web of deceit having nearly sealed their fates, Holden refuses to give up without a fight.
After an unexpected turn of events, Cammie Spencer starts to wonder if there is more to life than being high society arm candy and whether her fiancé, Oliver, is the man for her. There's no denying Holden’s always made her hot, but over the years, he's become the most tempting form of forbidden love.
Holden's only obstacle now is proving he’s more than the cocky bad boy she's pegged him for. Can he finally show her that their past doesn't have to define their future?
Will he be able to not only win her date, but her heart, before she marries the wrong man?
“I loved the banter and giggled at the dirty, naughty talk. Holden has quite the potty mouth and I freaking love it. #HotForHolden” - Jen Oreto
“In her usual style, JB McGee completely drew me into the lives of Camellia and Holden, leaving me seriously wanting much much more, not wanting to say goodbye.” -Tami, The Book Enthusiast
JB McGee does not disappoint in the story of second chances and destined love.” - Author Rachael Duncan
My strides are long and brisk. As soon as the cabana is within sight, I see the door isn’t completely shut. My instinct, once again, is spot-on. Grinning, I tap on the door before entering. “Cam, it’s me.”
“I obviously wanted time alone. So, fuck off.”
Damn. “You’ve got quite the potty mouth these days.” I chuckle. “It’s fucking hot as hell, but I told myself I’d be quiet, so I’m gonna shut up now and just come in. You don’t have to talk. You don’t have to act like I’m here, but you need to eat somethin’.”
She doesn’t say anything, so I push the door open, closing and locking it behind me. “Here,” I say, offering her the plate.
Her chin lifts and we’re staring into each other’s eyes, a standoff of sorts. She offers a small smile, which her furrowed brows contradict. Over the years, I’ve memorized her facial expressions, but I’m not sure if she’s glad to see me. Or not. “Thank you, but I lost my appetite a long time ago.”
“You need to eat. Just a few bites. Don’t make me beg more than I already have tonight.”
She’s on the sofa, her elbows resting on her knees, glaring at me. “I thought you said you were going to be quiet.”
Pulling a chair over, I place it in front of her, then sit down. “I said I would be quiet while you ate. If you’re not going to eat, I’m gonna annoy the hell out of you till you do.” I slice a piece of the filet, jab it with the fork, and offer it to her. “Want me to shut my mouth, then open yours.”
Cammie’s lips barely part, close, and then open again. She leans forward, accepting the delicate morsel. Atta girl.
While she chews that, I honor my promise to keep quiet. I cut the rest of the meat into pieces. I inch closer, offering her another bite. She moves closer too. Soon, we’re mere inches from each other. Her warmth, her flowery, sweet scent makes me reposition myself in the chair to keep my raging hard-on at bay. When I notice she has something in the crevice of her lips, instead of offering a handkerchief—like a gentleman would do—I gently brush my finger over the spot. I never said I was a gentleman. Or did I? I don’t care. I just want to touch her, to suck those lips until they’re swollen. I want to taste every bit of her mouth with mine.
Fuck.
I refuse to kiss her again after what happened earlier. I thought she wanted it then, but now, the only way that’s going to happen is if she initiates it or asks for it. But even with that said, there’s no way in hell I’m backing away, giving her any space. I’m staying put right where I am hoping she’ll be the one to beg me to finish what we started earlier.
I follow her eyes as they wander to the framed photo of our families near the entry. She’s standing with her brother, mom, and dad. Violet, my baby sister, and I are in front of Mom and Dad. Those were the good ole days. So good it hurts like a bitch. Her face tightens and her eyes squint. Seeing that picture, that look on her face, works better than a cold shower.
J.B. McGee is a mother, wife, and the Amazon Top 100 author of the best-selling This Series. Amazon Crossing acquired the German rights to her debut novel, Broken. Heartfall, her coming of age novel about a bullied ballerina, is a #1 best seller in the Teen and Young Adult Performing Arts genre. Skipping Stones, a military romance about a young woman strongly influenced by her faith and her family all the while searching for her true love, is a #1 best seller in Women's Christian Fiction.
When J.B.'s not writing, she enjoys reading as well as watching and live-chatting her favorite television shows with her friends. Her favorite shows are Quantico, Blindspot, Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Below Deck, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Scandal (mainly because of her love of Scott Foley).
Born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina, she attended Converse College and eventually earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2006.
In college, she was told by her children’s literature professor she would be the one student from her class to be an author. McGee shook her head and laughed. But in 2012, over six years after that statement was made and after a love of reading had been reignited, she gave writing a shot. J.B. gladly ate crow when she emailed her first book to the above mentioned children’s literature professor thanking her and acknowledging the accuracy of her prophecy.
In 2011, it was discovered that not only do both of her children, but also she and her husband, have mitochondrial disease. Affecting 1 in 2500 people, it has no cure or treatments. Being a writer allows J.B. to care for her family’s unique needs while also providing a platform for raising awareness for this disease.
She is a hopeless romantic who loves to escape into fairy tales—some she reads and some she creates.
J.B. McGee and her family now reside in Buford, Georgia.

Title: Real Deal
Series: Single Dads Club #1
Author: Piper Rayne
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 15, 2017
Red Flags…
Too loud.
Too clingy.
Too much make-up.
I could go on and on. The other guys in the Single Dad’s Club would say I’m obsessed with finding them. But none of their kid’s mothers call a maximum-security prison home either, so their opinions mean shit.
Caterina Santora has her own list of red flags…
She’s too young.
She’s my client’s daughter.
She’s my five-year old’s camp counselor.
Even after repeating this mantra to myself every morning on the way to Lily’s summer camp, guess what happens the moment I see Cat? Yeah, that mantra turns into ride me, doggie style and reverse cowgirl.
Every. Damn. Time.
The fact that she doesn’t remember me from seven years before grates on me until I don’t have it in me to leave her alone any longer. I have to have her. But our lives are opposites in every way. In no way compatible.
When we’re together all the complications fade away and I have to keep reminding myself, even if I can have her— I can’t keep her.
“Real Deal is a super funny, sweet and sexy romantic comedy that will leave you satisfied from beginning to end!” ~Whoo Gives a Hoot (Aurora Hale)

“Piper Rayne has a way of sucking you in and making you part of the story. Laughs, loves and intense moments are abundant in all of their writing!” ~ White Hot Reads (Heather)
There are at least ten camp counselors currently standing in the water watching the children, and six of them are female. Victor doesn’t understand the epidemic he’s going to have on his hands. The longer I sit there, the more dads find their way down to the lake, thinking it’s an everyday Thursday pickup. To their surprise, it’s a teenage boy’s wet dream. And maybe that teenage boy’s dad’s, too.
Caterina is laughing with another female counselor. I never noticed how her cheeks rise into two small apples when she smiles. Nor did I notice the way her hands cover her mouth to stifle a laugh or how she briefly touches the other person’s arm when she’s amused. Damn, I want to pull that reaction out of her.
But all I’ve gotten this week since camp started is a few polite smiles and ‘hello Mr. Kent.’ She hasn’t acted as though I’ve seen more of her than what that bikini she’s wearing reveals.
“What did I miss?” Dane sits down next to me, trying to catch his breath.
“What the hell do you do all day that you can’t be here on time?”
He glances over to me and then concentrates ahead of him. I can’t blame him, we don’t get views like this in Climax Cove very often.
“Does Victor realize he’s giving every dad here beat off material for tonight?” Dane asks. A few of the dads milling about laugh, knowing it’s true.
A small ball of anger begins brewing in my center. The idea of these dickheads thinking about what’s under the blue bikini hugging Cat’s tits gets under my skin. That beat off material is for me and only me.
“And to answer your question, I had to go down to the county for some paperwork.”
Dane’s been doing some heavy renovations to Happy Daze the last few years, expanding and making it a more family-friendly bar and grill during the day.
“Sorry, that sucks.”
Both of us continue our conversation as we pretend to watch our children. I can multitask though. My gaze veers to Lily to make sure she’s not drowning, but she’s taken swimming lessons since she was one, so I don’t have to worry too much.
“We can talk about that shit later.” Dane waves me off. “Fuck, this is so not fair. How is my kid getting more action than I’ve seen this week?” He bites his fist, watching Toby and his friends pour a bucket of water over his camp counselor’s head. Her yellow bikini doesn’t exactly hide the fact the water might have been slightly chilly.
Lily looks away from the action in the lake, finds me sitting there, and smiles. “Why do I suddenly feel dirty?” I mumble to myself.
Lily runs from the lake and Caterina says something to one of the other counselors and follows Lily’s path. Our eyes lock, but Cat is quick to shift her focus elsewhere.
“Daddy!” Lily screams and jumps into my arms, soaking me in the process.
“Hi, sweetie.” I prop her on my knee.
“Hi, Uncle Dane,” her sweet voice says.
I clear my throat so he’ll turn his attention from the lake to my daughter. Dane turns to me, back to the lake, and then realizes why I’m clearing my throat.
“Hey, kiddo. Swim day, huh?” He leans back on his hands, focusing his attention on her.
“Come.” She jumps down from my lap and grabs my hand.
“No, sweetie. I’ll wait until you’re done. Go have fun with your friends.”
She smiles and runs off.
“Damn, a little warning, huh? I’m practically tucking my dick between my legs,” Dane says and shifts in his seat.
“Um, how do you think I feel?”
“Who’s the dickhead?” Dane asks, head nodding to the lake.
One of the male camp counselors approaches Cat. She laughs at his joke and shakes her head. I don’t miss the way his eyes light up when she puts her hand on his forearm.
“Who?” I pretend my heart isn’t skipping beats from the adrenaline coursing through my system. Just call me a fucking caveman.
“Yeah, okay. Your eyes have been glued to one counselor, in particular, this whole week.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” I glance around to make sure no other parents overheard us.
“Is that how you’re gonna play it?” he asks, turning toward me and raising his eyebrows in question.
I say nothing, watching the dickhead pick up Caterina by the waist, her squealing and him dropping her in the deeper part of the lake. She stands up and now she’s dripping wet in her blue bikini that probably matches the color of my balls.
Once again, I swear her gaze veers over to me as she pushes her hands through her drenched hair. Before I can be certain, she’s concentrating on the kids again. She claps her hands and announces swim time is over for her group.
“Man, your chick is a fun sponge,” Dane says because Toby’s camp counselor is still in a water battle with her kids.
I push off the picnic table to head over to pick up Lily and gather her things.
Piper Rayne, or Piper and Rayne, whichever you prefer because we’re not one author, we’re two. Yep, you get two established authors for the price of one. You might be wondering if you know us? Maybe you’ll read our books and figure it out. Maybe you won’t. Does it really matter?

We aren’t trying to stamp ourselves with a top-secret label. We wanted to write without apology. We wanted to not be pigeon holed into a specific outline. We wanted to give readers a story without them assuming how the story will flow. Everyone has their favorite authors, right? And when you pick up their books, you expect something from them. Whether it’s an alpha male, heavy angst, a happily ever after, there’s something you are absolutely certain the book will contain. Heck, we’re readers, too, we get it.
What can we tell you about ourselves? We both have kindle’s full of one-clickable books. We're both married to husbands who drive us to drink. We're both chauffeurs to our kids. Most of all, we love hot heroes and quirky heroines that make us laugh, and we hope you do, too.
