Book Review for Royal Player by Katie McCoy

Royal Player
by  Katie McCoy

Blurb:
Charlie Davenport is the bad boy of British tennis - and third in line to the throne. He’s a beast on the courts, and a wild animal in bed (according to all the tabloids). Girls are lining up for chance at his crown jewels, and when I stumble into the wrong Wimbledon dressing room and catch a glimpse of his game, set, AND match, I can see why.

So what’s a little good luck kiss between f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶s̶ strangers?

I know better than to get involved with a bad boy like Charlie. But now he’s on a winning streak, he thinks I’m his lucky charm - and you know what’s luckier than a kiss?

Everything.

Suddenly, I've got paparazzi on my trail, exes coming out of the woodwork — and you don’t know ‘cutthroat’ until you’ve seen a pack of hungry socialites set loose near the Royal Family.

I’m in way over my head, and even worse - I’m falling in love.  Can this American girl win her Prince Charming? Or will we both crash out of the championships in flames?

Wimbledon-meets-The Prince and Me in this hilarious, sexy new romance from Katie McCoy!

                                         REVIEW:

Who hasn't dreamed of meeting their Prince Charming? Well in this sexy, sweet, romantic comedy I found myself falling for a Prince and an All American Girl. Katie McCoy has gifted us a sports romance in Royal Player, this story will have you swooning, smiling, laughing, giddy, turned on, heartbroken and wishing for that happily ever after.

From the beginning our attention is grabbed as we meet Emmy who is visiting London and working as a tea server at Wimbledon with her best friend Paige. Emmy's dream of staying with her aunt so she can visit the places that her mom has always talked about while watching movies together has finally come true. Emmy also finds herself inspired to work on her fashion designs, she never expected that walking into the wrong dressing room would be her lucky day.

Charlie Davenport is considered the royal bad boy on the tennis courts and off, he understands his position in the  family and lives by his own rules. Charlie will entice you from the start with his sexiness, humor and love. I loved everything about Charlie especially when he knows who and what he wants, his protectiveness takes over. The problem with falling for someone like Charlie is the paparazzi and having all your life on the front cover of tabloids...

On her first day on the job Emmy finds herself lost and walks into the wrong dressing room and stumbles into Charlie in all his full monty glory. Even his charm makes it difficult for Emmy to keep her eyes from lingering. Charlie takes his opportunity to get his good luck kiss from a beautiful woman, except now he wants more. His good luck charm has been working and the more time they spend together has them falling in love and not wanting to keep their hands off of each other. Add in all the reasons that could keep them apart and it makes for one exciting read! When life has Emmy and Charlie questioning if having all their secrets on the front cover for all to see worth the risk of falling in love, will they be able to have love win in the end? Royal Player is a 5 Star must read!
