When I think of Poppy Dunne, I automatically think of words or situations in a scene that can just fly straight over my head. I am in love with her writing style it's smart, sexy, visual and unpredictable. I have to say that I feel she out did herself in Extra Credit a romantic comedy of a gorgeous workaholic single dad who falls for his daughter's substitute teacher.
In this story we have Chelle, a fiery redhead who finds herself in need of a full-time job, she accepts a position for a drama substitute for an elementary school. Chelle has to put on a school play/fundraiser that if all goes well she may land the job she needs to keep her from having to return home and live with her parents and their circus animals. She never expected that the hot father she met at a teacher/ parent conference would volunteer with the play and work side by side with her. Will Chelle be able to handle all the emotions and memories that come with falling for hottie McDaddy?
