Hollywood Prince by Kim Karr Publication Date: January 2nd, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance
I am going to try hard to explain the feeling I get when I'm surprised the moment I realize that the book I am reading features characters from a book that I love. I seriously felt like a kid that was blindfolded and then lead and with eyes wide open let loose in a candy store, that's how I felt when it hit me that this was Brooklyn's story. Hollywood Prince is a standalone but the characters crossover from No Pants Required and Bedwrecker (which I love), all I have to say is that Kim Karr is making a fan out of me.
Amelia Waters has always wanted that happy ever after with the prince charming that comes along with that ever since she was a little girl. She is all grown up now and hasn't been lucky in love, on a blind date she comes face to face with a person that throws the secrets of her family's past in her face and has her flying to another state to question her brother. Instead of her brother Amelia finds her brother's best friend all sexy, gorgeous and a big womanizer, she wasn't prepared for the feelings and fireworks that this Hollywood Prince was going to bring out of her.
Brooklyn James is known as royalty in Hollywood with superstar parents, but he wants more than being lifeguard and a tv star whose show has ended. Brooklyn hopes that writing the next screen hit will help him make a name for himself. When it comes to woman he knows he can have any groupie he wants, but something changes when the woman that has always been off limits is right in front of him. Brooklyn knows that he will never be that prince charming Amelia has always dreamed about, he just can't resist the attraction that they both are feeling. Will he be able to get the girl he desires without losing his best-friend and let her walk away when it's her time to return home without making a mess out of everything?
I loved everything about this sweet, sexy and fun romantic read with that fairy tale ending I craved for, it kept a smile on my face and added that little gasp of breath. It leaves the reader thinking about, is always meeting Mr. Right worth letting Mr. Not So Right get away? Hollywood Prince is a 5 star fairy tale of a read.
