To many, I am little more than a myth. The Kiss of Death, a hired killer, revered by some of the greatest criminal organisations in the world. Trained by the bratva themselves, without conscience, without mercy, the perfect soldier. I’ll kill anyone… for a price. Death doesn’t discriminate, she sells to the highest bidder, but even I have a weakness.
I want one thing—power. But power is merely a game of strategy. The pieces are on the chess board. Death is my queen, and also my pawn. She’ll paint this city red in exchange for the one thing she wants. Now all I have to do is watch it all play out. She’s nothing more than a weapon, and yet, I find myself wanting to dance with death, to possess her. And I always get what I want. A game of power. A risk that could cost her everything. An obsession that would see the world burn at their feet. A bloodied king. A broken queen. Kill me or kiss me?
I don't even know where to begin with this review for Kill Me, LP Lovell brings the reader into a world of suspense and death by a beautiful hired killer. This story is dark and bloody from the beginning, two very strong characters; one trained to be the perfect soldier and the other wants power and is willing to take it no matter how he gets it.
Una is the beautiful hired killer bought by the highest bidders to take down their enemies, she was trained to avoid all emotions and get the job done. She is strong, seductive and cold- hearted with a secret she prefers to keep hidden. Her next assignment might just be more than she expected.
Nero lives by his own rules and will take down anyone to become Capo, the leader to the Italian Mafia. He is dark, fearless and demands respect. Nero " hires " Una to kill a few of his enemies, but did he really know what that would cost him? Her body, beauty and her desire for pain could be to much blood than he expected.
The connection these two have is dark, twisted and violent the more pain there is between them...their sexual passion ignites. Together they are unstoppable and apart the desire and need for each other is felt. LP Lovell perfectly titled this story, cause she almost killed me with this cliffhanger of a ending. KILL ME is one must hell of a read!!! 5 Stars
