I feel everything in me melting, his fingers are the matches and they're sparking their path through me.
" I forgot what it feels like to be with you. the way you overwhelm me, the epicness of it..."
We're not even naked and I know this will be earth shattering. Mind- bending. I think I'll be seeing stars and new galaxies by the time he pushes inside of me.
I don't even care about being caught anymore. In my mind, it's inevitable. But I care about having just one more week, one more day with her.
Lost: Captive Hearts is one of those stories that is hard to put down once you start. I was able to read it in one day and by 3 a.m. I myself felt lost because I could not believe how two characters captured my heart as much as Tucker and Charlotte did. From the beginning, I could not see a ending that I would be happy with. Carrie Aarons perfectly writes this story where we are taken back to moments of these characters lives to remember when and how their relationship was destroyed and what went wrong in their lives to lead them to who they have become.
Charlotte Morsey tried to be the perfect daughter and student but in the eyes of her mother it was never enough. Charlotte never seemed to fit in at school and found herself lost in her books. That was until her neighbor Tucker Lynch paid her little attention, their lives consisted of ignoring each other through the school years. It was only those stolen moments of the times Charlotte and Tucker spent together that made a lasting impression on Charlotte that she carried with a broken heart, she carried that hurt for years never believing she would ever see Tucker again.
Tucker Lynch, very popular boy in school and no matter how good of a football player he is, his father could always push him futher. He very easily had any girl he wanted but for some reason he seemed to have a connection to Charlotte which he was not willing to let anyone know of their relationship. Tucker breaks Charlotte's heart and during one of his college football games his world is turned upside down, dreams are destroyed and Tucker is on a self destructive path.
Charlotte and Tucker reunite under the worst circumstances, I can't find a way of continuing my review without giving away the story line. Lost left me with mixed emotions, I was conflicted with the relationship these two had. With the pain and the situation they are in, is a second chance at love even possible? All I have to say is that I found myself in tears and with a addictive feeling of needing the continuation of this story. This is a 5 star steamy must read.
