Lukas Griffin

I'd heard that chess was a game made for the Gods of Men.

You are not a God… you’re just a man.

But even you can make the rules…

Rule no. 1Trust no one.
Not even the ones you like.
Not even the ones you love.
Especially not the ones you love.

Rule no. 2Do not fuck the irresistible blonde.
Not even if she asks.
Not even if she begs.
And she just may…

Rule no. 3FUCK THE RULES.
To Hell with them.
Set fire to them and watch them burn…
Realize that under the right circumstances, everyone is capable of betrayal.
Even you…

#1 Step By Step

I’ve simplified my life into a three-part process:

I binge—I fuck—I comeuntil I come to my senses.

That’s what my world has been ever since she came into my life.
And I was perfectly content with it staying that way…
Until I actually met her.

Mouthy dancer.
Blonde bombshell.

My best friend’s soon to be sister-in-law.

Enemies before we’d ever laid eyes on each other, we were a match made in Hell—a cautionary tale of how not to get along.

But when the spark between us sets our passions ablaze, how do we prevent the unexpected matches from turning our flame into an inferno?

#2 Hour By Hour

My head says, “Fuck Lukas Griffin.”
My clitoris says, “Go ahead!”

I gave in to him, submitted myself to our fiery passion… and it blew up in my face.

I can’t afford to do this again—not when he holds all the cards. Not when he makes all the rules.

He’s lured me into a game—a game I’ve never played.
A dangerous one.

And if I raise the stakes and place another bet on him, will he burn me again?

                                                                Favorite Quote:

Griff is closer to a fantasy than to reality, bordering on ethereal instead of human. It's a humbling experience just being next to him.

                                          My Review:

Minute by Minute is the 3rd book in the Games and Diversions series  and it was so worth the wait. At times, it felt like I could not read fast enough to get to the answers that I needed. Natalie E. Wrye takes you on this suspense filled story with characters that can't seem to possibly keep their hands off each other all along still drawing the line at a love hate relationship. In Hour by Hour we were left with someone trying to hurt the ones closest to Lukas.

Lukas  and Elena's relationship will be tested after it is revealed to family and friends. With having their family and friends upset and barely speaking to them, they realize that they have to work together to find out who is after them and every one they love. Will it take knowing that their lives are in danger to admit their true feelings for each other?

I love how Minute by Minute brings forward the other characters and it also makes you question their motives. With someone playing a game that can cost a life or destroy the  life that Elena, Lukas and the other characters have worked hard for or  are beginning to build , it seems that everyone is a suspect?
The heat between Lukas and Elena is hotter than ever and you also get the heartfelt moments of what family truly means and how far you would go to protect them and the one you love.  This is a must read!!!
