"I’ve told you I’ve fantasized about you. So, tell me the truth. Do you fantasize about me?”
Bestselling novelist Jackson Ford is arrogant, exacting, and relentless on the page and off. His irresistible new editor, Ellie Parker is smart, headstrong, and not intimidated by Jackson's attitude - or the way he turns every exchange into a filthy seduction.
There isn't a thing these two can agree on, except their intense attraction. But with Jackson's deadline looming, can they stop fighting long enough for him to deliver the hit she needs?
The relationship between editor and author has never been so intimate or so explicit...
Explicit is my first read by Roxy Sloane and I am thinking to myself " How did this happen?" For some weird reason I had thought I read a book by her before. Luckily, I read Explicit and now I have a author added to my list of... I need to read more of their books!!!
Roxy Sloane holds nothing back and grabs you from the beginning with this beauty that is Ellie Parker a strong and determined editor, life is definitely not easy for her but with her best friends around she doesn't have to carry the drama and heartbreak alone. Ellie would have never imagined that becoming editor for best selling novelist Jackson Ford would have turned her life upside down sexually and emotionally. Will she be able to handle this egotistical, agonizing, frustrating, dirty talking and deliciously gorgeous man or will she lose herself and her dream job because of him?
No matter how you will feel about Jackson Ford, it is going to be hard to get him off your mind. He will have your womanly body parts feeling all sorts of tingles and he will have you wanting to slap that gorgeous face of his all at the same time. Jackson's need to refrain from being in a relationship will push away the one woman that has revived his body and his writing. When Jackson feels betrayed, how far will he go to ruin you?
The sexual connection between Ellie and Jackson is over the top smoking hot and the wanting they have to be together is heartfelt. Explicit is one of those stories that when it ends you will feel a longing to want more.
