Release Date: 11/2/2015
The Bestselling Moroad Motorcycle Club series continues with a standalone novel...

As a member of the Moroad Motorcycle Club, Jacko has been called a lot of things. Killer
Jacko owns the odd behavior, the detachment, the recklessness he's earned from his years locked away in the Idaho State Penitentiary. His desperate hold on seeking revenge on the remaining Reds and Los Li members responsible for killing Sarah keep him looking straight ahead, and to the sides. He only needs to kill two more men, and then he'll gladly walk back into prison to spend his days in solitary.
Burned out of her house and homeless for two weeks, Amy O'Harris searches from the shadows in the Silver Valley for Jacko— the only man who can help her stay safe. When Jacko saves her as she runs away from danger, her relief is short-lived. The change in Jacko's personality frightens her. He's no longer the silent, smart, easy-going biker she remembers loving her sister, Sarah. Jacko's damaged behavior screams out for her to stay with him, until she questions her own sanity and doubts every word out of Jacko's mouth.

My Favorite Quotes:

" Gave you what I have, Momma, " he whispered.

“Death never scared her. There were more people she loved in heaven – yes, she believed – than she had friends on earth. Not that she wanted to die, but when the cold flashed buzzed in her head, followed by heat that burned, she wasn’t scared.”

“Denial was a powerful drug, and she wanted to overdose.”

My Review:

This is my first Debra Kayn and Moroad Motorcycle Club Series, and I have to say I have become a fan.
In Falling For Crazy, I am introduced to Jacko, my initial reaction was doubting that I would find him attractive or interesting. Kayn proved me wrong, the sexual tension and sex scenes between Jacko and Amy, I found to be mind tingly... HOT. I didn't even mind that he is or acting as if he's on the crazy side. I am not a big fan of claiming ownership of a female but for some reason with Jacko having to claim Amy, it seemed endearing and loving. It showed me that Jacko had a sensitive side.
I am a big fan of Amy, she is strong, beautiful and loving. With losing everything she had, her mother, sister and having to leave the life she made for herself while in hiding. Amy still survived and tries to live life the best that she can. She fights her feelings for Jacko out of love and respect for her sister, but she can't keep fighting how hard she falls for Jacko. Amy doesn't back down from the club men, she is tough or very stupid, everything she does is out of love.
Falling for Crazy had it all, the drama, suspense and romance I enjoy in a good story. Jacko has me looking at MC men in a different light, I definitely will be reading more from Debra Kayn.

Book Review- Some Sort of Crazy

Some Sort of Crazy ( Happy Crazy Love #2)

by Melanie Harlow

When a psychic tells Natalie Nixon her life is about to be upended by a mysterious stranger, she laughs it off. After all, she has everything she’s ever wanted—a successful bakery, a the perfect boyfriend, and the keys to her dream house.

Who could possibly make her want to throw all that away?

Then Miles Haas comes back to town.

But he’s no stranger—they’ve known each other since high school. Plus, he’s only around for the summer, he’s still a shameless playboy, and he makes a living writing articles for a men’s magazine with titles like 'Should You Bang the Boss’s Daughter? A Flowchart' and 'Butt Stuff for Beginners: A Field Guide.'

He’s not the man of her dreams, and she’s not about to abandon everything she’s worked so hard for just for a little fun. Except he makes her laugh like no one else, smells like heaven, and looks sexy as hell in those panty-melting glasses.

**SOME SORT OF CRAZY is a full-length standalone romance.**

                                     Favorite Quotes:

And there it was. His full name, address, and vital stats right next to his grinning mug.
I shook my head. Who the hell smiles in their driver's license picture?

" Hey, you didn't say that you would be the wife. I might change my answer if that's the case. Because your buns are amazing. And your muffin? Outstanding."

I'm a lover not a fighter, but I have a big enough mouth that I've gotten myself into trouble a few times, I took off my glasses just in case,

She was out-Miles-ing me!
She was so hot and had me
so off kilter, I didn't even
know hat to do with myself!

That feeling struck me again- that surge of longing to do everything at once.
Hold her, kiss her, touch her, tell her everything, wrap her up in my arms
and keep her there until she believed how much I loved her, how much I needed her, how hard i'd work to deserve her.

                                My Review:

Since reading Some Sort of Happy,  I was so looking forward to Some Sort of Crazy, I am so happy that Melanie Harlow did not disappoint.
The story begins with the Nixon sisters celebrating the night away, they find themselves in the presence of a psychic, who tells Natalie a stranger will turn her world upside down. That night will change everything for Natalie, the youngest sister, who has her life all planned out. Natalie owns a home, a business and has been in a relationship for as long as she can remember. Life with her boyfriend Dan is comfortable, sexless, a questionable love and ...stagnate.
Miles Haas, writing his name places a silly ass grin to my face. Miles, a writer for a men's magazine, playboy extraordinaire and shamelessly immature. Why would any woman want him? What woman doesn't? He is Natalie's childhood bestfriend and has carried a feeling for her that no woman has been able to compete with.
The relationship between Miles and Natalie is back and forth sexual banter that is funny and extremely toe curling.  If you are looking for a friends to lovers romance with lots of laughs, hot and at times dominating sex and a frustrating path at love, Some sort of Crazy is your book.
Melanie Harlow has a way with writing about a guy with glasses that will totally sweep you off your feet. I will be looking out for her books.

Book Review- Nuts

Nuts ( Hudson Valley #1)

From New York Times bestselling author Alice Clayton, the first in a brand-new romance series telling the humorously sexy tale of Roxie, a private chef who gets a taste of love—but is it to stay, or to go?

After losing almost all of her clients in one fell swoop following an accident involving whipped cream, private chef to Hollywood’s elite Roxie Callahan gets a call from her flighty mother, saying she’s needed home in upstate New York to run the family diner. Once she's back in the Hudson Valley, local organic farmer Leo delivers Roxie a lovely bunch of walnuts, and soon sparks—and clothing—begin to fly. Leo believes that everything worth doing is worth doing slowly…and how! But will Roxie stay upstate, or will the lure of West Coast redemption tempt her back to Tinseltown?

                                 Favorite Quotes:

Coffee suddenly sounded like the best idea in history? Yes. Lay on top of me again? If you must.

I have never in my life wanted
to ravish someone .Kiss? Sure. See
naked? Sure.But when my eyes
met his, I felt a powerful urge to
ravish. His mouth, his neck,his
chest,his stomach, and everything
beneath those frayed blue jeans.
And the funny thing is, I felt like
he was thinking the same thing.

A dress that was one of my favorites, but if he'd torn it off and left it
it in a heap on the floor, I'd have shouted hallelujah

Because this guy was incredible.
Because this guy was real and
sweet and kind, and knew
about the kinds of things that
could wiggle through every chink
in my armor and into my hereto-
fore unbreakable heart.

He said my name over and over again, in this gorgeous, raspy whisper that was as sexy as it was intimate. I felt, in a word, worshipped.

                                      My Review:

As you can tell from my favorite quotes, I would have highlighted practically every page.
Alice Clayton is one author I will be looking forward to reading more from.
Nuts had this witty back and forth flirty banter that I could not get enough of.
Roxie Callahan, a private chef to the rich and famous returns home after a incident with one of her clients, she decides it's best to take a break from the big city and help her free spirited mother, returning to her hometown was the last thing Roxie ever wanted. The town gossip and everybody knowing everybody was what kept her away, she wanted the getting lost in a big city feel. While mom is traveling around the world, Roxie takes over the diner for the summer...just the summer.
Leo Maxwell, the Hudson Valley local farmer that has every woman swooning after him. He is extremely hot and is known for not dating. I love his charm and personality it just flows off the pages and hot damn what Leo can do to someones neck just makes me shiver thinking about it.
When Roxie and Leo literally bump/fall into each other, chemistry takes over there is no stopping the pull they have. Their summer romance is so perfectly written, it's funny and over the top hot without being sexually explicit. I could feel the heat of their attraction just with the description of how they touched.
Will Roxie's feelings change for her hometown and wanting just a summer fling after meeting Leo? Is there a secret that could come between him and Roxy?
I recommend you read Nuts to find out...I loved this story.

Book Review- Mechanic

Mechanic (The Breeding Series #2)

by Alexa Riley

Everything was fine until that innocent little rich girl walked into my garage. Since the second I laid my eyes on her, all I've wanted to do is get my dirty hands on her pure body.

There's one minor obstacle standing in my way, but I've got a plan. All I've got to do is claim her, and she’ll be mine forever.

Warning: This book is over-the-top, insta-love. There's nothing but steamy scenes, babies trying to be made, and an obsessed bearded alpha hero claiming a virgin who will be his forever. If you want it hot and dirty, this is it!

*whispers* There's a sweet smutty surprise at the end!

                             Favorite Quotes:

I still can't believe I did that. I'm chalking it up as one final dirty thing I did before I get married next week.

She's not used to talking to a dirty grease monkey like me.
No, she's more into suits and polos down at the country club.

                              My Review:
I am pretty sure that Mechanic is my first read by Alexa Riley, it would be very hard to forget someone with a very strong sense of a demanding, alpha, dirty and keen writing style.
I seriously don't know where to begin without blushing at the thought of trying to write this review.
In Mechanic we get two stories in one, the first is Paine and Penelope. Please bear with me, with the obsessed, demanding, body claiming and the determination to breed males in this story, I am still trying to figure out what little town these men are from.
I really should be appalled with the language Paine uses on Penelope to sweep her off her feet, but for some strange reason I felt... stripped.
With Alexa Rileys writing style, I could feel Paine's demanding presence, when he commanded I felt myself say, " Okay".
Penelope is just too cute for words, with a controlling father and her life set out in front of her to marry a man she does not even love, she should be thankful Paine came into her life.
The bonus story is Penelope's brother Law, the towns sheriff. He stalks, claims and wants to breed with Joey, a beautiful mechanic that works with Paine. She is a little spitfire and gives as good as she takes.
Well now I know, if I am ever in the need for a real downright smutty read Alexa Riley is my come to author.
*18 and over due to extreme sexual references*

Book Review- Those Red High Heels

Those Red High Heels

by Katherine May

When Emma Walker wakes up to what can only be described as the crappiest day of her life, she has no idea that the series of unfortunate events that unfolded that day were going to pave the way to her new destiny. Emma's recently engaged best friend, Brynn, calls for Emma to ditch her life in Chicago, and to come immediately out to the Big Apple to perform her maid of honor duties. What Emma doesn't expect is to find the man of her dreams in Brynn's social circle. Not only is he taken, but he lives in a very different world than Emma is used to. Will Emma be able to fit into this new life, or will she return back to where she started?

In this witty romantic novel by Katherine May, you will follow Emma on a life-changing adventure to New York City. Will Emma snag the man of her dreams, or just a really cute pair of red high heels?

*This is book 1 in the 'Those and That' series. Both books are stand-alones, and you do not need to read them in order to understand the storyline. There are no cliffhangers.

                              Favorite Quotes:

He was a very good- looking man, but he was the type of good looking that if he was yours, you would always be on the lookout for the other women who were plotting your demise, and were ready to swoop in and take him away.

Every fantasy, every dream, could not have prepared me for what his actual kiss would feel like.

I let out a little laugh, and loved how she was so concerned about my shoes. That showed what a true best friend is.

but when you find that lost puzzle piece to your life, why would you wait to see what happens to it?

                                      My Review:

Those Red High Heels is such a perfect read, it was short, witty, sexy but not dirty sexy, it had lies, jealousy and true romance.
It starts off with everything seems to falling apart for Emma Walker, with realizing her relationship is truly over and her boss has news for her. The only good news is from her best friend Brynn, who needs her in New York as soon as possible. Brynn wants Emma as her maid of honor and this couldn't have come at the perfect time.
Brynn and her fiance run in a pretty high class social circle and our excited to introduce Emma to them and hopefully move her to the big apple permanently.
Emma is given the opportunity to interview for the job of her dreams in New York, it's everything she and Brynn ever dreamed of.
Greyson Lyons, is a handsome very rich businessman and friend/ bestman to Brynn and her fiance. He is the sweetest guy but has his family business to think about and with that comes marrying the woman he is not in love with. Nora aka ice b*tch, is not a nice person and totally not right for Greyson but she will do anything to keep him and his money.
Greyson and Emma's life changes from the moment they bumped into each other. They will always do the right thing when it comes to having a friendship.
Will they be able to fight there feelings?
All the characters are awesome and easy to like, I could really feel for Emma and Greyson and wish them a true happy ending.

About the Author:

8432559   Katherine May's debut novel, Blackhill Ranch, only intensified her itch to write, and led her to release her second novel, Those Red High Heels. Although Katherine is actually quite clumsy and avoids heels at all costs, when the idea of this new story invaded her imagination, there was no escape. Those Red High heels is a contemporary/funny read that will have you discussing your favorite scenes with your girlfriends.

Katherine currently lives in a small rural community in Colorado. Her life has an abundance of cows, laughter, love, and the sound of little feet pitter-pattering around her home
