What if everything you had come to know about your life was a lie, complete and total fiction? Charlotte West had everything she ever wanted: The house, the status and the perfect husband in Winston. But that’s the trouble with appearances; they can be deceiving. Charlotte’s life had become a tangled web of ecstasy, rules, punishment and unparalleled pleasure at the hands of Winston, and his business partner, Aiden.
Charlotte never expected Winston was harboring secrets deeper than her own. She was clan-destined to lock more away into her vault of lies in order to portray the flawless illusion that the outside world has come to expect.
On an ordinary day of no significance, Charlotte made a conscious decision to let go of the chains that were binding her together and prepared to unleash the carnage that was her soul onto the world. She no longer felt the need to please Winston, nor Aiden. She was prepared to deal with her decision. For the first time, she was going to be true to herself, and she was terrified.
But when the cover is pulled back and decades of lies, lust and deceit are exposed; the question is, who would Charlotte be when everything was exposed? Would she come out on the other side as she had hoped, would years of walking the razors edge leave her broken; or was she lost forever?
" He is waiting in the doorway... god that face. It is the face of dreams and nightmares,
adventures and pure terror."
This book was given to me so I can be well acquainted with the storyline and characters so I could be ready for my Advanced Readers Copy of Enough Time.
I have to begin with how I was not prepared for a book of this nature, I have read a BDSM/ Erotica before... if Fifty Shades of Grey counts.
Enough Secrets has certainly opened my imagination to a dark realm of eroticism. I am not sure how I really felt about this book, I just know that I had to see this through and find out what happens to the characters.
Charlotte West, Winston West and Aiden are all tangled in a web of lies and seduction that they allow to consume their lives. Charlotte and Winston finally realizing who holds all the cards in this relationship decide to put what matters first. Will they be strong enough to make the change? Are the secrets more than they can handle? Will they survive the choices they made?
When I write a review, I try to be as honest about my emotions as I can so I have to be fair and write down how I felt while reading this book. I usually am a very emotional reader, but for some reason my only emotion seemed to be pissed off. I don't know if it was because of Winston's strong alpha male persona, his sexual preference confusion or I'm thinking the sexual references were stronger than I expected. Once I put all that aside, I was enthralled with the storyline and I really wanted a happy ending for Charlotte and Winston. By the end of this book I was left shocked and I couldn't get my hands on Enough Time fast enough.
* Enough Secrets is definitely for mature readers*
