Feeling like Donuts

I hate those nights when I want donuts, I just don't want to go to the store or bakery.  I remember I have some roll of biscuits in the refrigerator.  I have made these donuts for my girls since they were little and they thought I could do everything magical.
I used a tube of buttermilk biscuits, laid them on a cutting board. A biscuit tube will make 10 donuts and 10 donut bites.

Using a bottle top is what I use to make the hole and it is the perfect size for the donut bites.

fry them until they are lightly brown, if the oil is very hot they will brown fast. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel on a large plate  for a minute to cool  and then you can flavor them.
I mixed sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for the topping, I also tried for the first time powder sugar and I have to say they tasted pretty good. I bet I could even melt chocolate and make chocolate donuts.  The donuts bites are always the first to go. I hope this helped to give you an idea for something sweet.

My new favorite show and movie

I don't know why it has taken me so long to watch Scandal, it's my new addiction. I can see why Olivia Pope ( Kerry Washington) is confused on who to choose, The President Grant (Tony Goldwyn) or Jake Ballard ( Scott Foley) . I would choose Jake, but I just started watching the show. I am just crazy about the cast, it's like drama in every character. The only the I hate is waiting a week for next weeks episode.

This Valentine's the hubby and I  watched the new movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, I have to say I was not disappointed one bit. I might be a little prejudice because I will be a happy woman with any movie that stars Colin Firth or Hugh Grant. Kingsman had  lots of action, blood and some comedy. The premise of the movie is far fetched but it's certainly entertaining.
